IT SEEMS LIKE THE PERSON THAT HELPED YOU IS A REALLY GOOD LOOKING GUY AND THAT HE IS A REALLY GOOD FRIEND BECAUSE HE HELPED YOU OUT AND HE SHOULD PASS THIS STANDARD, BUT MAYBE HE WONT BECAUSE HE SPENT ALL OF HIS TIME HELPING YOU.
Samuel, I have no words for, but I think that even though you think you don't get it, the second two photos out those three show the rule of thirds quite clearly. so you instinctually used that to compose the photos. Kind of the point, that we are drawn to the way thirds look.
I really want you to play around with the groupings on panel one, making sure the series of photos that are on there (there is something like 3 or 4 series on there right now isn't there?) look like individual series of photos within the overall body of work. so making sure there is a larger gap between the groups of photos and that the gap within the groups of photos is smaller... once that is achieved, how are planning on addressing your next shoot? Are you or do you have an artist model in mind whose work has a slightly darker edge? email me if you want to or post on my blog asking more about this. in the mean time i will have a look around in case you have not got someone in mind.
