Centre of Interest and Focal Point.

In the first image my eye in drawn straight to the hearts, then along the line of flowers on the lace. I think it is composed well and I like how the lace is seen through the heart shapes, and it's something that I can carry on throughout my portfolio and I can expand on.

I really like how all of the dress isn't shown in this photo. I first see the detail in the bodice of the doll and it then flows out to the skirt which almost gets lost in the lace which draws my eye to the body.

This is kind of odd because I first see the lace because it is in focus, then realize that there is the arms of the doll that are sightly out of focus. I don't really like the composition of the photo because of the blurriness and the eye isn't attracted straight to the arms, and my eyes kind of get lost in the photo.

I really like the composition of this one, my eyes follow the line of flowers around the lace, and where the lace stops I see the dark and light shadows throughout the photo.

  1. I think there is this cool line that is the flowers on the lace that also lead your eye through into the space of the photo and it is fascinating to look at. Good work, enjoy your holiday and I cannot wait to see what you put up on your travel blog:)
